“Welcome to the Genomic Revolution”

Here’s a TED Talk by Richard Resnick on the future of genetic sequencing. He discusses how mapping individuals’ genomes has led to clinical solutions that wouldn’t otherwise be available, and how the cost of sequencing is going down, down, down, so it’ll hopefully be a common solution in the near future. Of course TED talks are generally very very optimistic, but I hope this comes true (and I hope the law keeps up with the advances).
